Hello everyone. The first XL Screen Streamer version of the new year is now ready.

This release adds a new consolidated user interface that allows you to see the network graph, connected users, and server log all on the same screen. We’ve also added the ability to instantly ban a user. You can do this by right clicking on the user’s IP address on the connection log and choosing “Ban User” from the drop down menu. This will ban the user for the remainder of the session.

New features and changes:

New consolidated user interface.
Ability to instantly ban users for the remainder of the session.
Fixed performance issues when multiple users connected too fast.
Fixed issue that would cause the application to fail on certain versions of Windows.

This release adds the ability to customize web templates using user defined web variables. You can now control all aspects of your web templates from within the settings dialog without having to modify your templates. Simply configure your templates once using the web variables then change the values with ease from the settings dialog.

Templates can be customized using web variables from the settings dialog.
You can now specify a welcome message to display to all viewers.
Added option to reset all settings to their default values.
Improved the performance of the basic web viewer. The speed can now be controlled using a web variable.

This version contains several improvements to the system cleaner and file explorer.

New features and changes:

System cleaner support for the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer.
Delete dialog now displays all folders being scanned.
Improved file explorer with better support for Windows 7 64-bit.
Improved cleaning of web browser’s media and session caches.
System files that fail to scan will now be reported as errors on the delete log.
Verify dialog will now show a blank icon for files with invalid paths.
Command line operations that do not specify a wipe type will now default to DoD-3.
