XL Delete 1.3 and More 2.12.2006:
XL Delete 1.3 is now available for download. This is primarily a maintenance release before the major changes coming in version 1.4.
New Features:
- Force Wipe: Wipe files that are in use by other processes. Useful for wiping index.dat files.
- Enhanced help tool tips: Helpful tooltips now pop up in the preferences dialog.
- Windows XP 64 compatibility.
- Wipe list will now render properly in the Windows XP silver theme.
- Toolbars will now remember their last location correctly.

Planned features for future versions of XL Delete:
- Securely clean all your Internet files including, cookies, history, and temporary files from both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
- Advanced scheduler which will provide Outlook-like scheduling.
- Redesigned Free Space Wipe and Free Space Lock dialogs.
- Ability to "break" the file table to prevent file recovery programs from picking up names of old deleted files.
- A secondary random number generator based on ISAAC to add even more security to the wipes.
- Better integration with the Windows shell.
- Free Space Lock manager to keep track of all the lock files.
- Built in features to wipe settings from third party applications.
- Auto update/patch system. XL Delete will be able to update itself.
- More wizards.
- Easier licensing system. It will be easier to register your copy of XL Delete.
This version is scheduled to be released by this summer.

Our product help manuals will also be available online and we are placing a new support system to better help our customers.
